Health Guarantee and Refund Policy
- Deposits made to reserve a puppy are non-refundable.
- Dee’s Dandy Doodles guarantees a healthy puppy upon pick-up. Specifically, the puppy is guaranteed to be free from any infectious disease and to have received shots and de-worming appropriate for the puppy’s age. The buyer must take the puppy to a licensed vet within 48 hours of pick-up and receive professional documentation of the health verification. Failure to do so voids all facets of the health guarantee.
- Dee’s Dandy Doodles guarantees the puppy to be free from any congenital or genetic defect for one year. Please remember that many human couples have no family history of a problem and do everything in their power to be certain that their baby is healthy, from taking prenatal vitamins to eating organic to meditation to ensure that their stress levels are low, and still there is a risk for genetic disease. We guarantee the puppy’s sire and dam do not have any congenital or genetic conditions and that we have done everything reasonably possible to ensure your puppy is also free from inherited disease. In the event that some rare issue presents, please read and understand the following:
- The purchase price is non-refundable except in the case of:
- A general health issue that is brought to the seller’s attention within 48 hours of pick-up and properly documented by a licensed veterinarian within the specified time period. The seller will then take the puppy to obtain a second opinion from their licensed veterinarian. Documented proof of such will be provided to the buyer.
- A genetic defect that presents within the first year of the puppy’s life. Proof of such must be documented by a licensed veterinarian and verified with a second opinion and official documentation from seller’s veterinarian.
- If above criteria are met, the buyer may choose one of the following options:
- Return the puppy to the seller, at which time the seller will refund the full purchase price to the buyer.
- Receive a replacement puppy from the next available litter.
- Sign a waiver accepting the puppy “as is” with no refund options being allowed.
- Please note that under no circumstances will the buyer be entitled to keep both the puppy and the refund or a replacement puppy.
- If at any point in time, the buyer becomes unable to care for the needs of the animal, no matter the reason, the buyers are encouraged to re-home the animal for a reasonable price to new owners that will provide a safe, secure, healthy environment. Otherwise, they are encouraged to contact this seller and discuss options to return the animal for proper care. This is handled on an individual case by case basis and the seller does not guarantee the ability to take the animal back. No recompense will be made to the buyer in these cases for the returned animal.
